Film @ The Phoenix: 1917 - Lazy Sunday

From 10am to 12pm every Sunday the Phoenix café and bar offers a full english breakfast (vegetarian options available) and a ticket for the 12pm show for £13.95 (£12.40 concessions).
The show for 19th January is 1917, a WW1 film, filmed in an extraordinary single take by Roger Deakins. This film stands alongside 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Dunkirk' as a modern war film masterpiece.
Meet at 10:30 so we can have a leisurely breakfast before the show starts.

Synopsis
At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers, including one of their's brother.
